- I taught art and photography, in public and private schools, in NC and Alabama, while also doing commissions and freelance art work. Later, moving into the commerical arena of art, I did research for Crayola Crayon and was an art director for NBC television. I'm happy to say, several years ago I began painting again and I'm excited, as always, about sharing the arts with others!

Laine - Our group, Pieces of 8 has been painting cupcakes for a couple of weeks...oh my! not as easy as it looks, especially if you insist on sampling them first (I did) and painting them with a big bite missing (I tried). Hope you are staying cool this summer and painting new and interesting, and less fattening, subjects!
