"CHICAGO CLOUDS"

Prismacolor on Paper

Another piece for Karin Jurick's "Different Strokes For Different Folks".
This is the Chicago Cloud Gate Sculpture in Chicago's Millennium Park. It's also known as the "Bean". After working on this I feel as though Ive taken a trip to the windy city! I would have never selected this topic but thats an advantage of these weekly challenges ~ Thank You Karin!

Hello - my first time to your blog, I enjoyed it very much! I like the way you cropped the "bean" photo from Karin, and the warm color in the base of it.
I noticed you have Vicki Shuck listed in your links - I really enjoy her work. I just featured it yesterday in my "Monday's Memo" on my blog if you want to check it out... http://terryrafferty.blogspot.com
I also was unaware of the virtual sketch date group, so thanks to introducing me to that! Maybe I'll try to join in next month.
Can't wait to see what Karin has for us tomorrow....
