"PAPER PAINTING" Workshop in Amelia Island

Fellow artist, Lisa Beck, at a recent workshop on Paper Painting with Elizabeth St. Hilaire Nelson. The entire first day was spent making beautiful papers ~ What fun!

Childrens Art Class - Matisse

This is more work from a recent childrens art lesson about Matisse. I'm so impressed by their use of color (and not mud!) and, for their ages, the wonderful shape and expression they've chosen as they learned about Matisse and his "Goldfish"!

MATISSE ART DAY

SUCH great little budding artist!!

These 5 & 6 year old children learned a good bit about Matisse and his work as a Fauve artist and his collaged paper paintings. After looking at many examples of his art, discussing the similarities, they painted their versions of Matisse Goldfish - with wonderful results!!

Great job to you all!

PLYMOUTH COTTAGE

Isnt this a beautiful gate at the Plymouth cottage? Use to walk pas this home frequently when going to our post office. The PO was closed in our village recently so I'll have to make a special trip to revisit these beautiful old home fronts!
